My life as a fitness instructor began in 2012 when seriously dedicated myself to my yoga practice. Since then I have had the privilege of studying under many gifted teachers while developing my own style and curiosity in movement. I strive to offer classes for all levels while encouraging an environment of self acceptance, self study, and maybe a little silliness. In 2021 I began teaching strength training with the Hot Pilates/HIIT classes and my path shifted in a big way. I am still incredibly interested in mindful movement but incorporating weights and interval training into my routine has had huge impacts on my well-being, especially as a woman approaching menopause.
In 2025 I had the opportunity to expand my knowledge and dive into Reformer Pilates training. Reformer Pilates changed my approach to teaching in general. Pilates is based in a deep understanding of the human body and how each system functions together, the results can be incredibly restorative. The rise in popularity in Reformer Pilates isn't a coincidence. Many physical therapy groups use the apparatus because it is incredibly useful in helping any person gain strength and mobility while curing injury. The most exciting thing about Reformer Pilates is that it is accessible to any person, regardless of their fitness level and injury history. I have had the privilege of watching student
s rehab injuries completely on the Reformer and improve their quality of life.
Watching my students gain strength and body awareness is one of my life's greatest joys. You can expect high energy in my classes, variety in movement, playlists that will keep you motivated, and an environment that is welcoming for all levels and all bodies.
